Lovely Kauri trees, not busy, easy walk. The path was well maintained, smooth except for tree roots in a few places (And a big storm came through about a 10 days ago, which washed out enough of the major hwy from Thames to close it). Gentle slope up and down, some of the path is a boardwalk.
The sign says a 20 minute walk, but that doesn't account for all the picture taking. I was there around Noon today walking with 2 friends, and it took about an hour - because it's just that pretty.

The view from the top of the Pa is absolutely amazing, and I was there on a clear, sunny, (slightly windy) day. Both ends of the trail are flanked by private driveways and there is a mountain bike trail criss- crossing...

It crosses the path of the motor bike path so in 2 places you have to be careful but it is well signaled. You can park your car near the 4square and walk...
