I ate a pie from this place MONTHS ago while visiting the area & i still think about it. I believe it was a vegetarian mornay pie. No Vego pie will ever hit the spot like the one i had at Coro Pies. So much so, that I’m sitting on my bed in Australia craving a pie but I can’t even be bothered to go find one, because it won’t be a veggie mornay pie from this little pie shop. Coro Pies kind of ruined pies for me in a way, because I will probably never get a chance to come back here & no pie will ever live up to that one I got in August from Coro Pies. And not to gloss over the super friendly customer service - the lady who served us was absolutely lovely. There was tables outside the shop but we chose to walk around the town eating. I definitely recommend stopping in at Coro Pies if you’re ever in the area &...
Read moreI have definitely found the bakery that makes the best pies in New Zealand. Let's start with the exquisite crust; so flaky and light. You can sense Mike, the baker, knows his way with pastries. I learned from Amy (his partner) and Nicky (first cousin) that he is trained in the art of pastries. You deserve enjoying this wonderful experience!
Maybe check out the Naughty Bean next door for your hot/cold drinks. John, the owner, is keen...

I don’t usually like creamy pies but the latter was delish! Also available at the Kuaotunu store on the...
