It’s Fish & Chip Friday so I decided to pop into what is an institution in Thorndon, and grab a package from Starfish Fish & Chips to Go which opened when I started at NBNZ. Nestled in a prime spot at the Molesworth St entrance to New World.
Order: Fish & Chips, Paua Fritter Cost: $23.20

So no I won't go there again. Oh and Thorndon new world is even worse ... They charge $5'for cold chips that are soaked in fat.
Where are the decent quality, reasonable fish shops?...

That left will put you on the SH1 Motorway north, with no way to exit for at least 12 km, all the way up the hill at Johnsonville! Wait until Molesworth gets...
