Kiwifish — Attraction in Puketāpapa

I visited your store on 7/10/2025 and 10/10/2025 wanted to share my experience.

When I asked to have the fish cleaned or cut, the salesperson informed me that he could not provide this service because he was the only person working. Additionally, he mentioned that the fish available at that time (7/10/2025) were old and advised me to come in the afternoon for fresher stock.

While I appreciate the honesty, I was disappointed with the service. Refusing to clean or cut the fish, which is a common and expected service in fish markets, made the shopping experience inconvenient. Also, being told that the fish was not fresh raised concerns about quality and food safety.

I hope the store can improve in these areas — particularly ensuring better staffing during busy hours and maintaining consistent product quality throughout the day.

Worst experience ever had this morning on 22/11/22. Was waiting for the shop to open since 9:55 and finally a lady opened the door at 10.10am but the "closed" sign was still not removed or changed to open. After selecting a fish and when requested to clean, she replied rudely that we can't clean the fish as we are very busy. Absolute zero customer service and a very rude behaviour from the staff.
