Friendly Bay Steampunk Playground — Attraction in South Island

Visited this lovely place a year ago and still have only good memories of it! The playground was clean, benches were clean as well, a lot of kids playing in there so it great place to spend some time in. Close to the Blue penguin colony as well. Ocean to the East and Mountains to the right make this playground special right off the bat. But then you realise that this is a fabulous fairly new and fun "steampunk" styled play area. One of the coolest parks I've ever seen! It's steampunk themed and very cleverly done.

Visually fascinating and you could tell the kids love it. Everything is well thought out and planned to fit the theme.

The toilets don't currently have a change table despite there being a sign saying otherwise.
