Oamaru is a great place to visit in Central South Island Of New Zealand. With around a population 14000 it has a feeling of being vast. With proud historical community, stunning old architecture and nice cafe's, restaurants, shops & tourist attractions like the Penguins and Fur Seals just for a start is worth the visit alone. From Oamaru LOOKOUT you can see it all, set high on southern side of the town you can see the beautiful curvature of the east coast sea line heading north as far as the eye can gaze, look out to Seward east as far as the horizon and to the west some beautiful picturesque green hills. Oamaru Lookout has walking tracks, seating areas and lots of fresh air, it is a must see when visiting...

Just be aware gates are...
