Yonghe Coffee Express Albany — Attraction in Upper Harbour

The shop in Albany is takeaway only. I love it so much and feel lucky to finally see more of these specialty shops around where I live. Ordered twice within a week. It’s so hard to find specialty food shops in Auckland let alone a tofu specialty shop which is genuinely authentic.

My favorite is the Gravy Tofu Jelly - it is so light and smooth. If you can handle spicy (like real spicy) then the sour and spicy tofu jelly is delicious as well.

I would order their soft steamed buns and braised pork Chinese burger (add tea egg). They come in good portion and are always really flavorful, but not in a sickening salty...

I ordered delivery through an app and they sent me the wrong items. I called them and they just said ‘sorry no english’ and hung up on me 3 times!! I know they understood me because I heard them in the background saying ‘what do we do’ and laughing....
