Interesting features. Modern park with structures for between ages 2-12. Great short seating for adults. No matter where you sit, you'll be able to watch your child clearly. Toilets across the footpath in front. Bit dark and dingy. Mown grass hill for relaxing and picnics. Saw teens trying to do Parkour on some structures too-getting in the way of the little ones. Overall kids had parents monitoring and atmosphere was peaceful. However near the water feature/fountain on the other side of the park were people that had set up a home type-and had bedding and alcohol out. All different cultures too-european, Māori and pasifika. I would steer clear of that area due to it looking like those people had set up a home and didn't like when my child and I went nearby:(

The green space is charming with a small area to actually be in the green space and otherwise large trees flanking both sides of an easy walking path. It has clean public restrooms and a drinking fountain. The playground is okay but I recommend a small toy with wheels to spark imagination. The ground is between old school playground and new "safer" ground. The equipment held my 9 year old attention for about 15 minutes. The cultural display is the gem of Meyers Park experience.

A hidden Auckland gem. The playground is great for any age, though mainly aimed for kids and toddlers. Lots of sculptures, some are blended with the surrounding. You can also find public toilets next to the playground. Used to be very dodgy, though with the latest improvements most of the park area are now well lit; some parts are unfortunately still a bit dark, especially the area close to White House - which probably is intentional.

Has limited parking spaces for free, which is great. Needs more sheltered areas, as it can get extremely hot in summer. Has a drink fountain, toilet and there's a water play area just over the hill a couple of metres away from the playground, not sure how to operate it. I've seen plenty of families with young kids splashing around there in the summer.

My most favourite park in the entire Auckland. It's secluded enough to be away from the noise of the bustling city. Definitely a very chill place as I was super relaxed when I was there. Sitting there for a few hours enjoying a book has definitely got to be one of the most unique experiences I had for my solo backpacking trip!

Located on Queen Street. Easy access from various city spots. Plenty of things to play. Shady grass to sit. Myers Kindergarten is next to it. Parking available for up to 10 cars. Surrounded by tall buildings on all sides, yet very peaceful. Has swings, rides and slides for kids of various age groups.
