I visited this with family as part of a longer walk from the Posebyen, along the river, then across the harbor to the fish market.

Nice little beach. Even has some big, potted palm trees! Convenient location right in the downtown area next to Aquarama and the Christiansholm fortress. There is also lots of playground equipment nearby (and sprinkled throughout our whole walk) for kids to enjoy.

It was a cold day so we did not go swimming, but the water looked clean and there was an interesting statue in the water in the swimming area.

There is a public bathroom nearby but you have to pay with a credit card. We tried to do this but our card would not work.
