I am on a business trip in Kristiansand together with two Indian colleagues. We tried Mother India and the food is ok but not that brilliant. We decided to try something else and one colleague found this Indian Garden. It was snowing and windy and we walked quite a long time. When we arrived, the restaurant doesn't look as fancy as Mother India. I was a bit suspicious. The guy recieving us was very nice and hospital. We ordered three dishes and two nam bread. When we got the food, all of us were really overwhelmed. I have to say this is the best Indian food I have ever eaten in Norway. I had a feeling that I'm just in a typical restautant, nothing really said it's Indian restautant - would say maybe more colors and national details and majority of other places can add an atmosphere - India usually is so colorful and I had lack of that surrounding in this place.
