Mixed feelings. First time all went well: food & wine was excellent, view was spectacular, waitresses were nice and helpful, though we were a large group (reservation was made by our local host). Second time, hmm-hmm-hmm... waitresses were a bit reluctant and treated EU/continental guests like little aliens (NB: only here!)...but, we loved the location (long days, full sun&sea, little marina in the heart of the city etc.) and our vacation in Norway; hence, we reserved a nice table for dinner with real sea view. Once we showed up, the bossy waitress wanted to give a table with wall view... I have been kindly trying to explain the slightly different confirmation we've received just few hours before, without succes. Nevertheless, the real shock was served shortly, but surely: instead of a civilised solution she just shouted on us: " you know, all tables in the tube were gone weeks ago" (date was 23/06/18)... So, we had to feel extrimely privileged even to step over the doormat! Thus, we said good bye right away. Needless to say how underclass and arrogant all it was, notably after the personal verification with the morning shift and at the eve of our anniversary, which btw was the last eve before we have left the country. It seemed that summer (student?) workers were on board only, some of them really hate the job, maybe due to the long summer shifts... I do not know... Nevertheless the place deserves some quality control on the staff behaviour. Hope it was an isolated matter at the very end. But, definitively do not want to see a reply with the usual promo mantra on the second chances. I trust, after the prices on the menue, one should be much more cautious about the communication quality and anger controll of the staff in contact...
Read moreThe place is a charming restaurant in an old and authentic house. When we came to book a table the waitress said “ We have too much to do!” So we left disappointed. After booking online we came and ordered one of two fish dishes they had in a fish restaurant (the rest was meat!) My appetizer was too salty and cold. The “busy” waitress’s explanation was “ It suppose to be like that ‘ etc... The bill was high (100€ for 2 persons), the service so bad and impersonal that we would not recommend this expensive restaurant with average food...
Read moreGreat food and wonderful atmosphere. I would probably have given another star if I did not suspect the shrimp and the king crab were frozen. I get better shrimp from REMA 1000 (a convenience store in Norway, and im talking about the fresh shrimp). Top service, and we loved the mussels!
my wife had a fish soup which is a appetizer for dinner. and I had the seafood platter. so, I had to share some. there was enough food for both of us. must mention that I reacted a bit to the price of beer compared to similar priced...
