Deeply impressive museum on the tragic events of July 22, 2011 in Norway. Heartbreaking to see the photos, names and ages of 72 of the 77 that lost their life that day due to the cruelties of one fellow Norwegian man. Unbelievable to see the actual security camera footage showing how calmly he parked the bus under the building and walked away just to see everything explode minutes later. To read how the events took place during that day. To hear the stories of people that have been there and survived. To see the actual police badge he forged and which gave him the trust to be taken by boat to Utoya. Unbelievable.

The Center of the 22. of July 2011 attacks should be visited by anyone interested im understanding the actions and motives behind this horrible day. You will see Interviews with Survivors, a Timeline of the events and parts of the verdict spoken in court 2012. It provides a great way to remember those affected by the attacks but also shows how to move on from here.

I have no words to express my feelings towards that day. 8 years pasts and still it feels the pain of that day. The lightest memories to all people killed 22.07.2011 I didn't want even to take photos there. I read the story and it's really frightening how everything can change in a moment.

The 2 young ladies that were on site couldn't have been more helpful and explained the displays extremely well. Hard to say that I enjoyed a place about such a tragedy, however it taught me a lot about the events that unfortunately unfolded on that day. The way the timeline is broken down really takes you back to the day and shows you how it all unfolds. I learned a lot and hopefully all other visitors do, so that acts like this do not occur again in the future. I would advise everyone to go and have a look around, takes about an hour if you read everything and listen to the 20 min video...

Gråter like mye bare ved tanken. Det går ikke over.

Bilen som bomben lå i var utstilt. Forvridde, rustne metallrester.
