đFuglen cafĂŠ is a vibrant spot thatâs always bustling with people. The moment you approach the cafĂŠ, youâll notice it is fully packed and busy, a popular choice for many in the area. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere remains relaxing, inviting you to settle in and unwind whether youâre alone or with friends. One of Fuglenâs best features is its variety of seating options.
You can sit outside, enjoying the fresh air, or find a cozy nook inside. The cafĂŠ is designed thoughtfully with different kinds of seats, so whether you prefer a chair, a bench, or a comfy sofa, youâll find something that suits your moodâ¨.
Inside, the hum of conversation and the clinking of cups blend into a background that manages to feel lively but never overwhelming.
The cafĂŠâs careful arrangement means that even on busy days, it is possible to relax, get comfortable, and enjoy your drinkđ. The flexibility in seating makes it easy for everyone to find a spot to their liking, whether youâre coming in to read, chat, or simply watch the world go by.
The staff at Fuglen deserve a special mention. They truly contribute to the positive environment. Every time you interact with them, youâre greeted warmly and with a genuine smileđ.
They seem happy to help and always make guests feel welcome, which is a bright spot in any customer experience. Even when the cafĂŠ is full and the line is long, they maintain their friendliness and cheerful attitude, adding to the overall appeal of the placeâ¨.
As someone who is a big fan of matcha latte , you might approach Fuglen with high expectations. But, the matcha latteđľ here is a bit of a letdown. The drink arrives looking nice, but the taste is much thinner than hoped for, not strong, and lacking the robust, earthy flavor that makes a great matcha latte memorable. It feels mild, almost diluted, missing that intense matcha kick that you might crave.
Another issue is the size of the latte. For the price you pay, the portion is noticeably small compared to other cafĂŠs. It doesnât quite match up to expectations, especially in such a busy and renowned coffee spot. When you asked for your latte to be made extra warm, the staff listened, but unfortunately, the drink was still on the cold sideđ.
Despite a few letdowns on the drink front, thereâs a sweetness about the place itself, the welcoming staff, the comfortable variety of seats, and the way people gather in groups, alone, or with loved ones. The smiles from the staff are genuine, and the options for relaxing are plenty.
Fuglen remains a friendly, busy hub where you can find your own little spot, even if the matcha isnât quite as strong or warm as you hoped. The warmth of the people, more than the temperature of the latte, leaves a sweet impression...
Read moreMy husband and I are both coffee lovers. We deliberately took the time to taste the legendary best coffee in the world, which was a big disappointment. We ordered double latte macchiato and double cappuccino, which are ordinary light roasted flavors, nothing special, if not strong, at least they should be mellow ~ No no no. The coffee is not good and the presentation is not good... The taste and freshness of the bread we ordered are not as good as those in ordinary bakeries. The service and environment are average, and the facade is not eye-catching, except for the conspicuous white bird Logo icon on a red background. It's time for afternoon tea, there are not many people, so there is no need to line up. There were a few empty tables outside, covered with empty glasses and crumbs, and some looked like they had been cleaned but were still dirty. This coffee is not even as good as the coffee at the Grand Hotel where we stayed, and even the coffee at Starbucks is worse...
Read moreMy favorite place in Oslo. First time I ever visited it was in 2018 and I came across it by chance. I was impressed the first time I was there and it stayed on my mind to visit again whenever Iâm back in Oslo. And here I am today. I love the atmosphere and the hospitality. Itâs super cozy. Besides that itâs also laptop friendly and you can basically work there while having coffee. The coffee is amazing, and the in the evening the cocktails are delicious. I havenât tried the food but wasnât hungry when I was there. But I can say I saw the dumplings and they looked really good. The art also is one the of the things that grabbed my attention the most since first time I visited back in 2018, followed the artist even since that time. I hope to visit their branches in Tokyo and NY in the future! But absolutely must visit if...
