Organized in three sections, there is the central kne with the palm trees from the Middle East, then to one side is the desert like, cacti area which is amazing and to the other, not so intriguing but still cool with variety of European plants. Free entrance and worth entering to see something extra from Oslo.

The main hall does not hold an extensive collection of plants, or trees for that matter, and is more focussed on the evolution of plants displaying some big fossils alongside. The side room was dedicated to plants (mainly cacti and succulents) found in arid environments.

Two large green houses, containing a wide selection of plants from across the globe. We were impressed with the variety of plants on display, a nice addition to the wider botanical garden. Open to the public and free admission.
