Mandi House in Oslo is hands down one of the best Yemeni restaurants in the city. The mandi was outstanding — tender lamb and juicy grilled chicken served over perfectly spiced, fluffy rice. The smoky flavor of the meat, the freshness of the salad, and the traditional sauces made the whole experience unforgettable.

The atmosphere felt warm and authentic, with generous platters that are perfect for sharing, just like back home. The friendly service and the little details — like enjoying a Palestine Cola with the meal — made it even more special.

there a lot to like about this establishment. Fair prices with good portions and delicious. The woman was friendly, even though she was setting up she took time to help me with the menu even with her broken English.

Not sure how this compares to other Yemeni restaurants, but I enjoyed my lamb rice dish. The star was the rice ( Caramelized onions-and raisins) and the accompanying sauces. The lamb was braised and moist, but it would’ve been better if it was cooked within the sauce. There were three sauces to choose from. It came with a curry like Sauce, a tomatillo, salsa, tasting sauce, and a yogurt based one....
