I arrived on 23 December and stayed for 3 nights. Cannot recommend enough this beautiful hotel with great location, friendly and professional staff delivering perfect service, outstanding rooms and amazing facilities. Having understood that the hotel is fairly new everything was up to date with latest technologies, for example you can connect via bluetooth to the main panel in the room that controls the AC fan, temperature, lights and even the external window blinds! So handy to lie on the bed and control everything via the phone. The TV was huge, it had Chromecast integrated so I could stream my favourite apps on the TV. The bathroom was very well done, two mirrors for far and close lookup, both with LED lighting, the shower was great with two different shower heads, mixer to control the temperature, toilet with slowly closing seat and lid, everything was spotless. The room had minifridge with adjustable temp, iron, hairdryer, coffee machine with capsules, kettle and tea. Small table and chair for work and another ones for leasure. Great artwork with paintings, very cute old school telephone in red colour matching the leasure chair and the overall red coloured style of the hotel. The bed, pillows, duvet, matress and matress top were incredible. I never had a better sleep in my life, all of them so comfy and soft! I couldn't visit the restaurant on the 12th floor (it wasn't working during Christmas which is understandable) and apparently had a great view over Oslo, so definitely worth going next time. The one and only small critique I have is that upon arriving I couldn't see where the entrance of the hotel is and I took the steps on the side of the entrance that had a lot of ice which was not treated so it was a bit dangerous to walk. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again!!!

It was not my first stay at a Radisson hotel, but my first one at a "RED" one and it certainly won't be the last. We parked in the garage next to / under the hotel, but there is also parking available outside which I would rather recommend as the garage is a bit expensive. In the garage there are also charging possibilities, however you need to be Norwegian to use the required charging app. Going from the garage to the reception might be a bit confusing at first, as you take the elevator to a big hall first and from then on another one up to the reception (If I remember correctly). When checking in late in the evening we were greeted by very welcome employees who really seem to like their job. Since we couldn't use the charging stations in the garage, they helped us find other charging spots nearby. Because we are Radisson premium members we also got a room upgrade. The bed was really comfy and you get a nice smart TV. The view fantastic and the bathroom was very clean and big. Bonus points for the heated floor in there. The general styling is also quite unique and somewhat industrial-inspired, I would say. The breakfast is really great and there is everything you want, I think they even got fish there as well. What I noticed is that when the breakfast time is over, they will put the leftover food into small boxes to create some kind of lunch boxes. I do not know if they donate the food to charity or if the employees are allowed to take it home or eat it for lunch, but either way it is really great knowing that all the food is not simply going into the trash bin. The location of the hotel itself is great, too. Not right in the city centre but also not too far away. With Økern station there is also a subway station within foot's reach.

Looking for unbeatable value paired with modern amenities? Look no further than this hotel. As a first-time visitor to Oslo, Norway, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The reception staff, particularly Floda, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. His warmth and assistance made my solo trip feel like a breeze. This hotel, only two years old, boasts everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From its contemporary design to its affordable rates, it ticks all the boxes. Trust me, the room size and price are unmatched for what you get. And let's not forget about the breakfast – it offers a wide array of delicious options to start your day right. Now, onto the one downside: the location. While it may not be right next to the subway station, a leisurely 10-15 minute walk will get you there. On a sunny day, it's a pleasant stroll, but during winter snowstorms, it might pose a challenge. Just something to keep in mind. Despite this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. If you're like me – someone who values affordability without compromising on quality – then this is the perfect choice for your Oslo stay. Travel safe, fellow adventurers, and savor every moment in Oslo – eat, pray, love. Until next time!

Netflix und Co. Waren also kein Problem.

Overall pretty cool hotel. Staff are nice. Our family room was pretty clean. Bathroom did have some areas of dust. We had the family room, which included a Panaromic view (I did not see this) a mini fridge, bunk beds, larger bathrooms, and more spacious rooms. The bad for us: Pillows and beds are super soft. Definitely made sleeping so hard for me and my wife. There is no AC in the rooms, it gets hot, and can be a turn off for some. Breakfast: We had the included breakfast, which they have a large variety of foods. It definitely got packed in Sunday morning. They had, scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, salmon, another variety of fish. Variety of breads, desserts, fruits, yogurts and more. For drinks they had juices, coffee, and tea. Transportation: Bus from airport, you can take flybussen, it'll take you straight to the airport. For the sight seeing, the Ruter app is great and the station is only a 5 minute walk, prob quarter mile or so.

Funky and fabulous hotel with a good vibe and great service. Rooms are excellent and staff are professional and friendly. Make sure you get a king-size bed: the bedding is soft and matress, though a bit on the soft side, just right! Breakfast is generous and there is ample seating. The bar on 12 floor offers beautiful views of the city. The hotel is located in an up-and-coming neighbourhood with cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Connections to the city centre are great. A massive shout out and a big thank you to Amoz, an amazing front desk staff member, who made this trip from booking to check-out welcoming and a home away from home. Radisson Red is a concept that revives the buzz of the late 1990s with sleek architecture.
