Stykke - Hasle — Restaurant in Oslo

I walked by to check if they were open, but unfortunately they closed 30 min earlier. To my surprise two of the employees where still in the restaurant, opened the door as they saw me and asked me if I was hungry.

They just started adding slices into a takeaway box, together with a garlic sauce - and when I was ready to pay, they just waved it away and said leave a review and let us know what you think and we are happy.

A big surprise, and something that I will remember and talk about for quite some time.

That’s what I call great marketing, customer experience and kindness.

I personally think it’s good idea to serve pizza by pieces so you don’t actually need to buy whole one. But the thing is that paying 6€ for one cold and dry piece - sounds at least not good for me. It’s horrible. So why if you’re serving pizza by pieces - you just serving old and dry pizza that stays for 4-5 hours already? Why not backing new for? So if you’re buying whole pizza - you will be guaranteed with backed from scratch pizza, but buying just pieces could be just old pizza. Why is that? Is that what I should deal with paying 6€...

Best pizza in Oslo, no question. They nailed New York style, perfectly crispy and foldable and flavorful without being too much of anything. We’ve had the pepperoni, White chick and White slices and were super happy with all of them. The spicy dipping sauce is also delicious, definitely looking forward to coming back for a beer or wine, their selection is great. Really friendly staff, a well designed space and great playlist everytime I’ve been in. Stumbled on it one day and had to bring my friends back...
