It's really cool to see the statue in Norway, as an American it means more than just a statue, there's even a plaque nearby talking about Americans that migrated. There's not much around it, so plan your walk out there just to see it, and then maybe check out the scenery of the coast, and if you feel the need there is an area nearby where you can take a dip in the ocean with some walls guarding where you would get undressed or dressed.

Die Statue des berühmten Entdeckers wirkt ein bisschen unproportioniert, und sie steht definitiv an der falschen Stelle. Grundsätzlich wäre sie ein hübsches Fotomotiv, aber in Richtung Wasser verstellen nicht sehr attraktive Straßenbegrenzungen des Blick, in Richtung Stadt hat man moderne Häuser im Hintergrund. So steht er ein wenig verloren hier herum.
