Sadly, this place is always quite dirty. People walk barefoot through all the dirt. Upstairs where the fast food area is, the floor gets all greasy. Paint is peeling from the columns in the swimming hall. The floor in the sauna and swimming hall and upstairs doesn't seem to get cleaned during the day at all. The floor and gutters in the bathrooms doesn't get cleaned often enough.

At the same time a single ticket costs almost 200NOK - it's not worth that if you just wanna go for a swim. First and last hour tickets are a bit cheaper, but not much, for that you then only get a small amount of time, and the competition pool tends to be quite busy at those times.

On weekend days, especially rainy ones and in vacations, the pool tends to be packed - making it hard to utilise the facilities. Though the benefit is that on such days there tends to be fewer people in the competition pool.

I go because this is the closest pool near home and work, but if there were cleaner alternatives for lane swimming, I'd go for that.
