There is so much to do around this lake that I can only talk about a couple things. Firstly there are towns and cities along the coast with great hotels and attractions. This is also the highest commercially navigable lake in the world so bring altitude sickness remedies!
If you can schedule a tour of the Uros Islands do it! They are man-made islands on the lake constructed of the reeds that grow in the lake. It is a very unique experience to visit them and the people who still live in them in traditional ways. From eating them to constructing their homes with them they have found a thousand ways to use these reeds to live in peace on the lake.
Also tour the Isla De Taquile. This is also a group of indigenous people who have lived on this island for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
