This mall is beautiful, and Iāve actually been here every day since I arrived from the States. But I need to call out how terrible the customer service isāespecially at the supermarket.
I lost my wallet, and not only was I not helped, but I felt completely dismissed. The front desk acted like it was just a normal thing. They were chatting among themselves, and it honestly felt like they were waiting for me to go feral before taking me seriously.
All I asked was to view the CCTV to figure out whether I misplaced it or if someone took it. But they said I had to file a request and that it would take DAYS just to even look at the footage. Thatās absurd.
I ended up going to the police station with a guard who had just started working there (only a month in!) and a saleslady who basically stood there and did nothing. I had to keep repeating myself over and over again about what happened.
At the station, even the cop scolded the guard, saying this wasnāt the first time this happened and questioned why they couldnāt just show me the CCTV. He even asked how a report can be filed if they have no leadsāand the guard just stood there, completely lost and unable to answer.
This experience made me realize: they have millions of guards, but no help. No empathy. No proper training. And absolutely horrendous...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I often go to SM Calamba Mall. If you have a car then you will quickly realize there's limited parking spaces. Lots of foot traffic all around the mall. Hard to drive.
Inside the mall it's nice, a bit old, cool, and a big selection of stores. Three stories of them. Lots of good restaurants and a big, and busy, food court area.
The mall is often crowded and busy and can sometimes feel uncomfortable. I do enjoy their SM grocery store as it's big and they've improved on it a lot. Better selection; working fridges; decent layout and busy.
I enjoy the SM Calamba theatres. Large. I would complain that they don't really offer buttered popcorn and the concessions seem limited compared to other theatres. Seats are comfy and the place is cool. Something to do.
Overall, it's a decent mall and we enjoy it!
EDIT: The parking at SM Calamba during the holidays is very difficult, at times. It's one of the smaller parking lots of the SM nation of stores and drivers rarely obey the parking rules. SM Calamba needs to re-paint it's parking lot arrows and to instruct guards to require drivers to drive in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreetings,
I seldom do this writing to an establishment, am/we are an avid and loyal customer ofĀ SM Calamba weather doing our grocery, shopping at the department store and even watching movies. And at least once or twice every week, I do my morning grocery as early as 6am so it would be faster and less customer during this time.
Just this morning at around 6:30am, when we were about to park at the motorcycle area. The guard ask me that the parking is not yet open, then I insisted telling him that I will be doing my grocery. He then radio his colleagues, asking if it's possible to open the parking but the person from the other end said "its not yet 7am". From that situation, there was no consideration on the part of the security to let me park and do my grocery (considering its already 6:30am).
From there, I felt the disappointment and the lack of decision making in terms of providing good customer service by the security personnel.
Thank you for having the time to read and consider this concern to provide good customer service.
Thank you and God...
