Park Hill Hotel Mactan — Attraction in Lapu-Lapu

We decided to stay here for ease because we landed at 3am and needed to sleep.|This first night we didn't book and they had a spare double room on the first floor which was great for us! We didnt have breakfast but this was only 300php more for both of us.||The room was ok, it had clean sheets and the reception staff were lovely when we arrived. There was wifi and aircon. ||This is unfortunately where the good review stops. ||Because of the value of this plCe we decided to come back before flying out of Cebu to another island... bad move.||It seems we were lucky to have had the other room! |This time the woman on reception was extremely unhelpful. We were put on the 2nd floor in a twin room that had no wifi. The room was dirty, had mould in the ensuite and a lizard in the room. Because it was another late night that we arrives we did not have time to find another place so i ended up sleeping on my towl and had no pillow because the one on the bed...

I have been to Park Hill before a few times. The reason is simple, it is the proximity to the airport. I arrived from Dumaguete at 7pm and my flight to Tokyo left at 8am. With only 5 minutes away it has a perfect location for one night.||Sadly, the little restaurant had closed. I didn’t know that. It was raining hard and there was no way, that I go outside to one of the Korean restaurants around the corner. So yeah, the only thing left was some junk-food-chips and a few beers.||The bed was fine, but the aircon was dripping inside the room. For that price, I will not complain. It will remain my choice, when flying out from Cebu early. For my next stay, I download Grab-Food and order a delivery service. That will do the trick for me. I just hope the place will still be open, as I somehow have the feeling, that it goes a bit towards the end...
