Hi everyone, meet Mr. Michael from Mt. Luho in Boracay Island, PH! 🐶🌴
One of our dear friends, Barbara Whiteside, visited Boracay last year and met this sweet, gentle soul. She instantly felt a connection with Mr. Michael — there’s something so pure and kind in his eyes that’s simply unforgettable. 🥹💛
When we came back to Boracay this year, we made it a mission to visit him every single day. He was so skinny, but still so loving and calm. His first proper meal with us included NextGard — a chewable treatment that protects dogs from fleas, ticks, and mites. It also helps prevent skin issues and boosts overall health for dogs like him who are exposed to harsh outdoor conditions. 🐾✨
We were blessed to have a vet with us who checked his condition and noticed some mucus in his eyes — likely an infection. She confirmed that NextGard would support his healing.
This entire effort would not be possible without our kind-hearted donor, Barbie. Thank you, Barbara Whiteside, for always choosing to give back. 💚
Now that we’ve left Boracay, we’ve launched “Operation Fatten Up Mr. Michael”! 🥣💪 We’ve coordinated with an e-trike driver named Jomar who will feed him weekly and keep an eye on him. We hope to see beautiful progress in a month or two!
👉 To everyone visiting Mt. Luho in Boracay, we kindly ask you to bring some extra food if you can. There are many stray animals in the area, and anything you can give—rice, kibble, leftovers—can mean the world to them. Please consider making your trip a little more meaningful by helping out these silent souls. 🐕🐾
Also, sorry if you see Mr. Michael eating on the floor — we actually brought 120 sugarcane eco-plates, but by the time we reached Mt. Luho, they were all gone! 😅 We made do with what we had, but don’t worry — he still enjoyed every bite!
By the way, Mt. Luho is the highest point in Boracay, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the island, lush greenery, and peaceful surroundings. It’s a must-visit for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting to see Boracay from a different perspective. 🌄📸
Let’s create more fat doggos! Haha! 🐶💖 A little kindness goes a long way.

Read moreIt was okay. When we went there you can go to the second floor. The third and fourth floor is closed because of the height requirement set by the government. You can still see half of boracay but not so much since there are trees and electrical lines blocking the view. Plus you can't stay on the balcony longer since there are other people who'd want to take pictures. Basically it's enjoy the view, take pictures then go down. There's a cafe but...
