Suitable for backpackers, adventurers and people on a budget. Not suitable for NPCs, insta-wan*ers or tourists.

Pros: Secluded No tourists You can put up hammock without being fined You can drink on the beach without being fined You can chill without being harassed by people selling you rubbish That said, Ray will deliver you drinks and food for 100php. Good bloke but do ask for a receipt because he'll charge you whatever he wants, which is still reasonable Fun waves

Cons: Rubbish on the beach Not a tidy beach - old coconuts, palm leaves and shell sand beach Locals beach with parking for their boats Harsh waves for people who don't know how to swim Not a great spot for your shi**y insta photos

Don't pay more than 150php (2022) for 2 people from D*Mall. Some will try to charge 350php for 2. Walk away and laugh if they try to scam you, you...

Llig-Lligan Beach is a fantastic destination, perfect for snorkeling or simply relaxing. The beach is relatively quiet, with few people around, which enhances its serene and peaceful vibe. However, this also means there aren't any shops nearby, so I would advise bringing your own food and drinks if you plan to spend the day there. Despite this, the trip is well worth it.

Snorkeling at Llig-Lligan Beach is particularly enjoyable. However, it's important to note that during low tide, it's best to avoid snorkeling due to the presence of long grass where sea urchins live. When the tide is low, you can be close enough to come into contact with the grass and the sea urchins, so be mindful of where you step.

Overall, Llig-Lligan Beach offers a great escape with its beautiful and tranquil environment. Just come prepared, and you'll have a...

We visited in December.

The beach was beautiful and serene. We were almost the only ones on the beach and that was such a nice change of scenery from White Beach and Puka Beach.

The waters were calmer than Puka Beach though the tide/waves were still relatively strong. However, we really enjoyed swimming there in the clear blue waters of Boracay.

There were a few locals there who would sell you Buko (coconut) juice and they would literally climb up the tree and pick one for you so it was really fresh and nice! They also didn’t tout so heavily probably for the lack of competition.

We got there via eTrike but please make sure you get one to wait for you as it’s a private beach and there aren’t any eTrikes waiting around. The tariff rate is P500/ hour. This makes doing a DIY land tour far cheaper than engaging a...

This beach is on the opposite side of the island. No foreigner tourists. It is very quiet and relaxing and an escape from the crowds and the noise that you get on white beach. It’s about a 50 minute ride on a tricycle, and you pay the driver by the hour, about P500 per hour, as he has to wait for you while you are on the beach. There are no other transportation to take you back. Not cowded and I saw about 2 hotels on the beach. However, there are a dozen or so “Bangkas” or small canoe boats that offer inter-island tours. Same fine sand beach, but the water is a little deeper than the other side. The good thing is that the sea is calmer than the other side, no big waves. There are vendors that offer free use of mats, but you have to buy coconut juice or softdrinks that don’t come cheap.

The day we visited is so windy. There's nothing much out there. There a sari sari store before you go down the hill. A surviving hotel with a cafe and pool if you feel a bit fancy. 500 pesos consumable for food for 4 hours swim. Few locals selling coconut and souvenirs and a sand castle. That was we've seen when we went there. We didn't swim as that time is too windy. You can see the Cujos keyhole from that beach.
