We Chill Restaurant — Restaurant in Malay

Drinks were good and affordable. This is actually one of the first places we visited in the Philippines that felt like a proper "beach club" (even though it's not on the beach 🤷‍♂️

The music was not great on the day we visited (20-02-2023) but other guests shared to us the music style changed everyday and it had been better.

Anyway, would've gave 5 stars to that place but the woman pictured below was rude and couldn't help renewing the limited 1 hour wifi pass we had (there's no mobile network there). She was too busy doing nothing, playing on her phone (with hotel wifi!) and talking with her coworker.

Most employees were just sitting doing nothing. Had to order drinks directly at the bar, no table service. There was plenty of staff, but no service at all. If I'd be the owner I'd fire everyone working around the pool area that afternoon except...

Nobody hesitated to get my order. I came to the restaurant area at a normal busy time (nothing too busy and not too low). The personnel brought the menus quite quickly but after that they just ignored me - not a single time they came to ask what I want to drink or eat. Even after several eye contacts nobody hesitated to come by and get my order.

After ~30 minutes I left the place again. I am willing to pay more than outside the resort but not if the service is that way, then I would rather go and eat outside - where I am going to spend...

We ordered the Persian barbecue chicken and it turned out to be the best tasting dish of the lot. It was cooked just right--no blood and no burned flesh. You can taste the spice in every bite of the flesh, which was firm and not brittle.

The chicken burger was a novelty that we tried and enjoyed very much. The ribs may have too rich a sauce but it was tender and meaty.
