2nd Lime Hotel we’ve stayed in and can’t say it’s worth it. Concept is a great idea but the execution sucks. Upon entry everything looks luxurious, until little things start to add up. 1. Upon check in they requested $x pesos for incidentals, which is standard. But then they said they only accept “cash.” Clearly they do not per the sign pictured below. 2. The smell of Lime scent seems to be masking some other oder…but it’s way better than the sewage smell from the El NIDO Lime resort 3. Rooms were very dusty, as our kids socks went from light colors to black after walking around in the room. Most likely due to all the construction towards the ocean where they’re literally dumping gravel to build out towards the ocean. But why wouldn’t management require staff to make sure the room floors were clean if they know dust makes it in when the sliding doors are opened (see pics below) 4. Little details in the room just showed how half a$$ management was in ensuring quality. Shower doors out of alignment so water goes out the door, and no anchors to hold up the towel racks so they’re bent and coming out of the wall. (Pics below) 5. (Not pictured) Toilets don’t seem to fully flush so there was always left overs stewing in the bowl 6. Wi-Fi only works in your room. Once you roam the hotel, you lose the WiFi signal. 7. Parking attendants were overly concerned with our coming and going. We were there for two nights, paid for parking, but every time we wanted to leave it was like crossing a boarder. “Where are you going?” “Are you coming back?” “What time?” Frankly, we finally said it’s none of your business. I didn’t see a review where a guest went back to their room because they forgot something and found staff going through their things. Even with the “Do not clean” sign on. Since parking has you license if they know when your leaving and coming back they can find out your room. 8. Lastly, upon check out they said it could take up to 2-3 weeks for the money they took out for incidentals to be credited…took 24hrs for them to taking from our account 🤨 Only difference I found from this Lime from the one in El NIDO is this hotel had a much nicer spread for breakfast and the top deck pool was nicer because you didn’t have the aroma of sewage. Once construction is done I’m sure the view will be more pleasant, but right now it’s a complete eye sore of dredging and dirt dumping barges. Could have designed more seating around the pool area, but we were in the water most of the time anyway. Positives: Restaurant staff seemed nice, and we were always greeted upon entry. Also, not too far from the airport and a short walk (15min) to the mall and other attractions. Seemed like the general staff was happy and pleasant, but the management of overall hotel quality and customer service could be significantly improved. There’s a lot of other options nearby, so I’d highly recommend looking at other locations before settling on a Lime Hotel

I’m giving 3 stars just because all of their staff were lovely. From the guards that greeted us with a huge smile upon entry, to the bellboys that were kind, helpful, and had initiative, even the trainee that assisted us during checkin was really nice. Random employees we met in the hallways and elevator had warm personalities. I loved them all. But the establishment itself is just disappointing. The whole hotel smelled like sewage especially the ground floor and trying to cover it with the strong smell of airfreshener or whatever just made it really worse. The pool area is too narrow, it wasn’t even crowded yet and it felt unsafe to walk on. The space they allotted in between the edge of the pool and the outdoor chairs for walking was only like half meter and there were too many slippers along the way that could easily trip anyone to fall into the pool. We had 2 senior citizens with us that wanted to get a sight of the sunset but struggled. They didnt get a chance which was awful. It is really a hazard and someone should take this seriously and do something about it. It’s like their actively waiting for a lawsuit. We booked 5 rooms and ALL of the rooms had cockroaches and 1 of the rooms had unbelievable number of ants that are even crawling on the bed. Some of the floorings have cracks. Edges of the walls are crusted. Our kettle is broken and was really dusty. I think housekeeping needs to consider serious improvement and training, and the maintenance of the entire hotel too. If there is good management and supervision there is no way this would have happened. Management should keep an eye on this. I thought this hotel was new but it seemed like it has been operating for 10 years and had been neglected. If there are pests in the room wherein food is not present then it is safe to assume that they have pests in the kitchen and in their storage areas. What assurance do I have now that the food is safe and clean? Do you even have HACCP certification? If so, how do you pass safety inspections? We ordered room service P632 for a very sad plate. 3 pcs of small ham 2 small egg and just 4 half slices of loaf bread. I thought it said on the menu basket of bakeries😭 i feel robbed, this isnt worth it at all. It took like almost an hour to arrive and it’s just this???? Misleading and false ad. There’s so much more and im already tired i cant keep going because it is just overall disappointing and depressing. I will never come back and I will not recommend. 😭 my sister is scared to sleep because of all the cockroaches. :( i sincerely hope they will improve this hotel because it’s just a waste of money otherwise. Imagine booking 5 rooms, spending that kind of money and this is the experience you get.

No more view, but we weren’t aware of that until we came here. False advertising because they advertise it as a room with a bay view, so we feel like we were ripped off. They even told us that we’d have a nice view when we checked in. But see the video below for the actual view. You should be able to expect honesty from a legit business, but they seem to care more about making money than they do about honesty, so it’s more like a scam. Weird strong smells everywhere we went in the hotel. They even had a large air freshener dispenser in the elevators, which to me was a sign that they needed to cover up something bad. For the price we paid, we expected it to be a lot less janky. Looks like they try to put on a front to seem like a nice place, but in reality there’re so many little things that make the experience not fun. Room was dirty up close. There was some kind of leak from our toilet so there was a big puddle of water in the bathroom the whole time. Drain in shower was clogged so we had to uncover the filter and expose the pipe to get it to drain, and doing that exposed some gross buildup underneath 😖 We are vegetarian, so for us, the buffet wasn’t worth it, but we chose to pay for the dinner buffet anyway because there aren’t many other options in the area, and the hotel charges a corkage fee which would’ve made it expensive to order food to our room. VERY few vegetarian options. The food labels also had no dietary information so it was difficult to tell whether something had milk/meat in it. Also, the outdoor bar/deck, though a nice-looking place and great to eat your breakfast in, plays club music and basically throws a rave from around 5 pm to the late hours of the night. It’s right outside the window of your room, and the walls and windows are not soundproof enough to smother it. It makes it extremely difficult to sleep, and it’s very frustrating. Maybe if it was a more secluded area, it would be reasonable to play that music, but i think it just disturbs the guests more than entertains them, because not many people hang out down there from the looks of it. Overall, we were disappointed in our stay but there were a few positives: The shower pressure is sooooo nice, and the shower itself has two heads: 1 handheld and 1 rainfall-style. The bed and pillows felt very comfy. The curtains are blackout and make the room very dark. The view of the sunset is amazing. The best sunset view I’ve seen in a while. If only the price were lower and the hotel had been honest about what to expect, there wouldn’t have been so many disappointments.

The Lime resort has terrible service and terrible housekeeping, the rooms are very small and cramped. Housekeeping is a disgrace and you have to call and ask for towells, hand towels face washers because housekeeping have no supervision and cannot do their job properly. towels are removed and not replaced each day when they make up your room. There is no supervision or quality control. The rooms are very tight and cramped, and so are the bathrooms, and the water pressure is average at best. If you call for room service you will wait for well over an hour, and you have to call two three or four times to get what you ordered, it's pathetic! There's nothing much in the area, and it's rather isolated in cab drivers and grab seem to find it difficult to locate. The first two types of rooms don't have double beds, and the basic rooms don't have Windows and are smelly. The next rooms with partial ocean views i just looking over mud flat and construction sites and you can't see any ocean unless you walk at and look around the corner of the balcony. The safe didn't work and is small and not even bolted down. There is no soundproofing and you can hear jets flowing overhead late at night and early morning, and from very early in the morning you can hear construction thumping and drilling. The tv is a joke and most of the channels do not work and i just frozen. You can't watch youtube or anything because everything is set in Chinese. Things get stolen from your room and the incompetent woman manager that has no idea how to manage or investigate things, took two days to respond with I asked the staff and they said they didn't steal anything! Like seriously, as if they would admit they stole customers belongings. This incompetent manager should be terminated and replaced. All she could say was sorry not even the slightest the team to do anything about the problem and no offer of compensation. It's way overpriced for what you get. This would be the worst customer service place in most countries in the world. Budget hotels in Manila leave this place for dead with service standards. The service in this place is not worth 1 out of 100! I would not recommend this place it is an absolute rip off you get nothing for the amount you pay and there are so many better hotels around. Don't waste your money and don't stay here your things will be stolen and you will not be compensated because management are incompetent and encourage the terrible service and dishonesty.

Lime Resort Manila represents exceptional value for money. The Premier King Suite, in particular, was so delightful that it guarantees my return for another stay. Room: The suite was a standout, especially the automatic curtains. While the balcony overlooks Manila Bay, currently under construction, this didn't detract from the charm of waking up to stunning bay views or enjoying sunsets. The suite also features a spacious worktable behind the bed, a mini bar with complimentary coffee and tea, and a range of purchasable snacks occupying the mini fridge. Note, storing personal items in the fridge may require rearranging these snacks. The room includes comfortable disposable slippers, two bathrobes, and ample storage space. Although there's a safe, I didn’t use it. The TV, loaded with a diverse movie selection and YouTube access, isn't a smart TV, so casting from a phone isn’t possible. Bathroom: The bathtub, alongside a generous amenities kit (reminiscent of what you’d find in five-star hotels), was a highlight. However, a minor issue with the handheld shower head’s knob was a slight inconvenience. The toilet and shower are separately enclosed with glass doors. Hot and cold water are available in all faucets. Sadly, some towels had visible stains, and the bathmats appeared worn. Despite these issues, the bathroom experience was still enjoyable, especially as a solo traveler with multiple towel options. Facilities: The rooftop pool, open from 6 AM to 10 PM, was a delight, enhanced by background music and unique wicker chairs partially submerged in the water. The gym, though unmanned, boasts high-quality equipment, including an impressive treadmill. The bar adjacent to the Bayside Buffet offers a tranquil dining experience with diverse food options. It's a pity, though, that the pool surrounding the dining area is off-limits. Breakfast: The Filipino breakfast selection was satisfying, featuring dishes like tapa, fried talong, dilis, pineapple pork, along with cereals, fruits, coffee, and tea. The attentive staff ensured a smooth dining experience, promptly clearing dishes from the table. Overall: Lime Resort Manila is an excellent choice for a relaxing staycation or business travel. Its combination of amenities, attentive service, and overall ambiance make it a destination I eagerly look forward to revisiting.
