I had an exceptional and unforgettable experience during my Advanced Open Water Course and fun dive with Action Divers. The shop has well-maintained equipments, nice staff and perfect location if you want some quiet place to stay at Sabang, Puerto Galera (few walks away from the dive shop, there are some restaurants with delicious foods). And of course, special thanks to Huw, my dive instructor, for his effort and thorough guidance during my course. Huw is very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and very responsive. He can see your problems even if you don’t say and of course made an action for that, (he replaced my wetsuit after my first dive because he sensed I was very cold underwater on the first dive). Also, I was never comfortable with my buoyancy after my open water course but during and after the course with Huw and Action Divers, I felt like I’ve improved a lot (I learned not to rely on my bcd all the time) and gained much more confidence underwater. Huw also guides me and points out all the cool underwater animals that you can encounter in the beautiful corals and wrecks around Puerto Galera (can’t forget my encounter with a frogfish, scorpionfish at Alma Jane wreck, moray eel and my very first nudibranch).

I was a bit unsure about what to expect and what to choose before going to Puerto Galera for a 8 days diving. On first instance I contacted some of the recommended dive centers (there are dozens there) and the first reply was Roscoe from Action Divers. From that moment, every single question or request was answered accurately on time. The decision was made and I went for Action Divers. That was the best decision EVER. When I showed up, i was welcomed right away, they knew who exactly I was, and in no time I was already in the water. From the first dive the professionalism and experience was evident. I did around 20 dives and I truly enjoyed most of the dives (including night dive) and this because I felt that I was in good hands, that Action Divers knew what they were doing, which spot to dive, distribute divers based on our preferences and expertise, getting equipment right. Everything! The dive shop is totally clean and its relaxing. Their equipment is perfectly well maintained and in great condition and once again, the staff is just great! I can only say now, that I did not only made fantastic dives, I made also good friends. I am hoping to be back in upcoming 6 months if possible and hit the water once again with Action Divers.
