Świnoujście Promenade — Attraction in Świnoujście

A great promenade. It is clean and structured. It offers activities, food and beverages for young an old.

The restaurants are all good and relatively cheap for the given location. At first I thought this is a typical tourist trap...but I was proven wrong.

Yes there are "Arcade Halls" and Souvenir shops but it is all placed very good so that you can pass them without beeing annoyed.

One can say it is a great place for a family trip. Good prices, clean surrounding and the beach right next to it.

BUT be prepared for the mosquitoes. I was there in Juli and the mosquitoes were a curse. They came out after sunset ...hundreds and hundreds of mosquitoes. No chance to just sit on the promenade and drink one of the good and...

The beach in Świnoujście is one of our favorite places on the Baltic Sea! It’s wide, well-maintained, and really clean – perfect for long walks, especially in the morning or at sunset.

After the walk, you can pass through a beautiful park to the city center, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and a drink at the cozy “Prochownia” bar. A big plus are the well-developed cycling paths – great for active visitors and families with kids.

Świnoujście also impresses with fresh, healthy air and excellent food. The atmosphere is great – relaxing and welcoming. We come back very often and are always happy to be here.

New promenade looks to be a huge waste of money. It is detached from the beach by the forest line and you have dozen of restaurants concentrated on one end near Hilton/Radisson and empty end with children playground on the other side. Many beach exits but totally no facilities like restrooms and showers. You have 3 trash cans every 20 meters, but no public restrooms and only a couple of paid single cabins in the beach cafés. Disappointing. The only good thing could be bike and skates but this all the people wondering around you can hardly...
