Don't get what people are moaning about.
The cloakroom queue is obvious as soon as you arrive. People aren't queueing to party in a little container. It's self explanatory. Queue to get in was less than 5 mins. Queue for bar and toilet less than 5 mins.
Great organisation. The only big queue was for band merch.
As for transport. Again I don't know what people are moaning at. From leaving the venue, tram, wait for tram and walk at both ends, I was back in my city centre hostel 30 minutes later.
It's kind of tricky booking a ticket because you can't translate secure pages but it's not too hard if you keep Google translate open for if you get stuck.
The venue send you emails telling you all the times and gates etc and staff will point you in the right direction if you're unsure.
The artists take their own systems, so if your AV and stage is rubbish, that's your artist being a cheapskate, keeping all the revenue for themselves rather than respecting the fans and giving them something back for their money, it's not the venues fault.
Staff there were all great and helpful.
Babymetal brought an amazing stage. The whole night was faultless from both artist and venue. It actually took longer to get out than it...
Read moreAbsolutely awful organisation in this place: had to spend an hour in the queue outside only to be sent back to separate place to deposit the bag. And nowhere it was told about that, although there were people from the staff who made announcements through speakers, but they didn’t mention it either; so we had to stand in a queue twice and be late to a first band’s performance.
But it got worse. The dispose centre is just a construction container outside with no enough space in it to keep every visitor’s stuff. So, to manage to keep it, they just place it outside on a street, on a plain sight with no security besides short barriers. When we got our bags back, we not only had to wait 10 minutes and literally help the staff to find our bags, but they also were wet (due to cold weather outside). It makes me wondering what they would do if it was rainy or snowy.
And for this mandatory “service” we had to pay 30 zł (~7.5$) each… So, if you go to this place, don’t take your bags with you - it’s more secure, cheaper and safer for your belongings in a storage at a train/bus station.
Besides that everything is fine: they got great displays in there, plenty of place and toilets, but the...
Read moreWe went to see the Impact Festival in June 2017. The show turned out to be really great! However, the arena staff are highly unpleasant and treat you like garbage.
We tried to speak to someone in regards to the seating and they were distasteful in terms of helping us.
They do not allow bags into the arena which makes sense in terms of security. But they charge a high fee of 50zl/15$ to store that bag/item.
Security is highly unpleasant they grab your items like a savage inspecting it. If they don’t like something, you need to store it… They told me to store my little compact camera.
In addition, staff seems to be very inconsistent with their rules. One gate you can pass with your camera and another gate you must store your camera for 50zl/15$.
All in all, be prepared to be treated like you are nothing if you go to this arena. You are just a number...
