Beautiful beach with a stunning backdrop of typical Algarvian red and yellow cliffs. The beach is in sort-of a large cove with fairly steep cliffs at either end, though you can walk round the cliff at the eastern end to reach the adjoining beach at lower tides; the view past this cliff extends eastwards to, and just beyond, Quarteira. Praia Santa Eulália is never crowded, though you will be far from the only one on the beach at the height of summer. Lifeguards are stationed on the beach in summer. There is a shop at the entrance to the beach, sun loungers and parasols to hire (€10 for a half-day or €15 for a full day in August 2017) and a variety of water sports available including parasailing, jetskis and pedal boats with slides. Should you not wish to hire a sun lounger there is plenty more space on the beach to settle down on your towel or whatever. If you are looking for a bite to eat, Grande Real Santa Eulália's Atlântico Bar is just at the back of the beach and is open to the public. Public car parking is available, though it and the access road tend to get rather crowded in the summer months. If you are staying at a nearby hotel I would recommend walking rather than driving to this beach. In my opinion, this is the perfect place for a relaxing day on an Albufeira beach, quieter than Praia da Oura but still easily accessible and with plenty of space and a few activities if that's what you're after. I would choose Praia Santa Eulália over any of Albufeira's many other beaches for a day on the beach.

Pretty awesome beach. Good for swimming, though I'd warn you to keep an eye out for rocks and there are some underwater and it is a pain when you hit them. There quite a lot of seaweeds the day I was there but can't say if it's a constant thing or not. You could still swim further deep into the beach to get a seaweed-free swimming though, so not that much of a problem. There's a bar/restaurant in the beach where you can get drinks and bring down to the beach - don't know if you can bring down food though but I doubt you could. To the right there some nice rock formations worth exploring and to the left there's a nice walk uphill where you can get a nice view from the whole beach. It seems this beach gets busy really early; I arrived there just before 11am on a Friday and there was hardly any parking left and not a lot of parasols left either, so go early or take a cab and bring your own beach gear. This beach also got some nice waves which you can have fun trying to catch them without a board.

I saw sexy, beautiful womens in the sea, when I started chatting them up I found out they were from Brasil and work in a hotel. Eventually I took them back to my hotel close by and told them they could wee all they want my penthouse suite has 2 bathrooms as well as a kingsze bed as they would find out. Nice day had by all if their shouting and screaming was anything to go by!

We did a 9 mm trek over to the beach from Vila Petra resort at the northern end of The Strip. It is too cool for beach activities but ideal for walking the beaches and cliff trails back to The Strip. Lots of folks had the same idea so there was a few times when we could just enjoy the scenery and wild flowers while we waited for them to pass on the narrow trail.

This is a nice place to be at. You can choose to sit on your own towel or rent a deckchair with parasol. A nice restaurant, wich we thought was a bit expensive with their lunches. But they had "snack-time" before 12 that was a litle bit more reasonable at price.
