Average. Every tempura sushi roll we ordered was chewy and definitely not fresh. We ordered a dish which on the menu photo had spicy mayo but received a sushi dish smothered in sweet chilli sauce and was told it was the correct dish but it wasn't as we had ordered the sweet chilli dish already and it was identical. When we ordered some hot tempura prawns and crumbed chicken you could tell the deep fryer oil is dirty as it had that particular after taste. (I'm a qualified chef so this isn't guess work)

When we received a bowl of plain sushi rice for my daughter it was so sweet she couldn't eat it. My wife prepares much better sushi rice using the correct traditional seasoning recipe. Other sushi dishes didn't taste sickly sweet so we were confused why this happened. I ordered plain boiled rice as a replacement which was brought to us promptly and was fine.

The Kung Po chicken we ordered was very tasty but nothing like traditional Kung po chicken. (Which is a Chinese dish)

The service staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant felt modern and clean.

The food came out of the kitchen very fast, a little too fast in my opinion indicating to me a lot of the food is pre prepared. For some Japanese dishes this is fine but in this case it wasn't.

The bottled water ordered wasn't sealed which isn't a bad thing but does open the possibility that it's taken from the tap. If you advertise a branded bottle water it's best to present it sealed and open at the table.

The all you can eat menu is a deal and maybe on a good day the food is better, but there a lot of Japanese restaurants in the area so I'm confident there are...

Kids loved it! Ordering food every 5 minutes is their dream it turns out. Its a buffet with an actual timer on the ordering tablet but it works great, it comes straight from the kitchen and we managed not to waste any food at all ;). It was 20 euros per person in the evening and water was 2.5 euros per bottle (we bought 2 it's so hot here!). We turned up without booking around 18:30 and got steated straight away, by the time we left around 20/20:30 people had to wait a little but not too much. The service was hit and miss, some waiters were lovely, others not so much but they do run back and forth a lot so we can understand. The food quality if fine, its not amazing but you're paying 20 euros so let's be realistic. It actually a fusion of japanese and chinese. We liked the makis/sushis, meat skewers, sesame seeds balls, cabbage salad and the sashimi were alright. I would skip the egg fried rice, seaweed salad and prawn crackers. The following day the kids want to go again so if you want to please young teenagers this...

Tourists, don't be mistaken, heppy juice is very bad and the owner is arrogant with his obsession. The Fuji restaurant is 1000% rated, I recommend going there, it is next to Pizzeria Paulos. Fuji's shushi man is a 5-Star gentleman and I have respect for him, I've known him for years and he has 1000% experience and makes shushi that makes your mouth water, it's so good. Deceive, If you want to be deceived, it's the perfect place, everything except real shushi from rice to fish, they are the ones to deceive, take away orders come with rice and rice, fish only seen under a microscope and they see altered orders with missing ingredients and the save..., to eat at the restaurant is like a real robbery, they sell a pig in a poke. I recommend the much better Fuji and real sushi and quality, I don't recommend it. I don't recommend wasting time with happy juice. Fuji is a shushi restaurant next to the Paulos pizzeria and this restaurant has good quality and good shushi, after the beach or...
