This was a very interesting Museum. The path which you take through it is pretty much set but you could take as much time as you want. The price is very reasonable. It does a good job of sharing the history of the islands in particular this one. We did not notice a way to find an English translation and so relied on Google Translate for anything of particular interest. In the long run it was difficult not speaking Portuguese. I believe they may actually offer an English-speaking guide, but we did not hear that until after we had been through the museum and back onto the streets. Weapons of wars past... anyway, It's a short stroll, but uphill, from the City Center, it's uncrowded, and the entry price is very reasonable.
