Restaurante Dai Hou — Restaurant in Angra do Heroísmo

The restaurant inside looks strange. Firstly, it want to be seen as a great place, like luxury restaurant, but the way how its made destroy all of it. Most important - food, its very hard to call it chineese. Taste is not special, without spices. Totally worse then Chineese I ate before. The portion it veeeery small. From a meal for 7 euro I expect to atleast make a pleasure feeling inside stomach, but that one doesnt make. I do not recommend going there. Its expensive...

Great Chinese food on the island. The staff was very nice, large menu, calm background music to keep conversations between friends. My favorites from my first visit: fried wontons, spring rolls, chicken corn soup, paprika chicken, sweet sour pork, pineapple chicken fried rice, and fried egg noodles.

Will be back for sure.

terrible smell of mold, specifically ordered vegetables since they didnt have vegan option and they were far too salty, wasnt able to finish, asked for plain rice wich came with the taste of being on the fridge for 4 days and even had some egg bits after i said i didnt eat egg. very weird experience. just on the other street had achinese/tawainese restaurant where i got a much better experience. do not recommend...
