I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the meal and service I received at your restaurant.
During my visit, I ordered grilled swordfish with boiled potatoes and vegetables. Unfortunately, the meal fell far below expectations:
The swordfish was dry, suggesting it had been taken straight from the freezer to the grill without proper preparation.
The boiled potatoes appeared to have been reused from an earlier meal; they were clearly dry and lacked freshness.
The vegetables had a sour taste, indicating they were not in suitable condition for consumption.
When I raised my concerns, my complaint was dismissed, and I was told that “everything was good and fresh.” Despite this, I was charged for the meal, which I find completely unacceptable given the poor quality of the food and the refusal to acknowledge my concerns.
I hope this complaint will be taken seriously and that measures will be implemented to prevent similar situations in the future, both in terms of food quality and...
Read moreA small place, which might seat 20 or a tad more people only. We walked in the middle of lunch rush when full, and somehow they made a table up for us anyway! Great. We are from out of town and were starved from running around all day. This is a Steak and Seafood restaurant, but don't miss out on the soups. They prepare them in advance. Everyone orders the soup. My wife's Swordfish was massive and tasty, served with large delicious potatoes too. I ordered grilled Chicken, and they practically gave me the entire chicken breast. So much, I could barely eat it all (with fries). We had a few drinks too. They were very busy, but we were served very quickly as well. The prices were VERY reasonable. We ate and drank for under 25 Euro. They have our respect, and we will gladly be back in the evening hour should we ever visit the...
Read moreWe wanted to try typical azorean dishes here so we ordered limpets and alcatra. The limpets tasted pretty good - very buttery and fresh; we found the alcatra extremely heavy here (we tried this dish at a couple of other restaurants in Terceira) and chunks of fat floated to the surface which was a little unappetizing. Despite the meat being soft, it came out a little dry and actually did not have much flavour itself. The flavour was found in the heaping bowl of “soup”/stew, but because it was so fatty and heavy we tried not to dip the meat in too much. The alcatra comes with triple carb: rice, “sweet” portuguese bread, and fries. Just skip the fries. Theres no parking to my knowledge, but there is some street parking outside (free); can be tricky to park in the...
