The Partenope Hostel is located in a great position, close to the centre of Angra do Heroísmo.
The owner has put huge amount of care and work into renovating this traditional building. It’s beautiful, modern and VERY clean.
The facilities are excellent……. In fact, it would be very good if this was a modern expensive hotel, but the offering is even better when you consider that this is a hostel in which the facilities are traditionally shared among guests and comes at a very good price.
I stayed in a private double room with my own bathroom for two nights and felt very comfortable.

The owner has invested a lot in making the Partenope very modern…. The electronic key on my phone made accessing my room very easy and the primary mode of communication with Irish through WhatsApp made everything quick and easy to organise when I was checking in and out.
I really enjoyed my stay here and will stay again when I next return...

The host has been wonderfully helpful and I liked the breakfasts included in the price. This enabled me convenient early starts for hikes round the island. All in all great...
