Praia de Carvoeiro — Attraction in Lagoa

Been here several times. I already knew the cafes are way overpriced but we that after a nice day of hiking let’s go here. The small beach was overcrowded but also that a canoe company takes about a quarter of the spaces. After being in the sea for a few minutes my parter was waving like crazy. Apparently we had to move right away because all the speedboats were coming back. Do half of the beach is for boat companies. Avoid this place. It’s way overrated, too small beach for the amount of people (and parking spaces) and...

One of the most beautiful places in this part of the Algarve with a small but beautiful beach that fits perfectly into the coast. Surrounding high cliffs is an opportunity for cliffjumping, and that's what's pretty popular here. Right behind the beach you will find places to eat and drink. Overrated small beach We went there in the afternoon in high season. It was overcrowded. We had to move within half an hour... because of boats (with many others).. What? Why? They are taking up half the beach already..why not go somewhere nearby?

Cafes are too expensive nearby as well. And nothing special. Lots of beaches nearby which are more tourist friendly.. so.. bye! Just...
