Praia dos Três Castelos — Attraction in Lagoa

Nudist friendly beach. This is a very difficult beach to get to but worth the dangerous climb down. The beach is very peaceful not suited to group. There is a very nice atmosphere peaceful, respectful, frequented by queer and naturist friendly. Not a place for cruising or picking up, there are other places. A place for quiet not suited for families because of the dangerous difficult climb down. The beach is covered by sea at high spring tides and its difficult to enter the sea at low tide because of rocks...

This beach is only accessible via a trail parking is about 500 Mt away so bring suitable walking shoes flops and bare feat won't do , but once there you will realise it was worth it , for a long stay bring refreshments and make sure you are aware of the tide times as on high tide the beach is almost completely submerged , it is very secluded so it's perfect for a romantic picknic, not many people...

Update 2023: Beach is covered in 50cm algae and sand vanished. Not worth going as bathing is more or less impossible.

Word of warning: the cliffs have been more and more unstable in this area recently. In the picture you can see a huge rockfall on the eastern side of the beach from 09.06.2021. Before there was no sign of unstability, so I think this can...
