Church of the Saint Condestable — Attraction in Lisbon

This 1950's church built in the gothic style houses the bones of the Sainted Constable of Portugal who was doing his duty at the Battle of Ceuta in 1415 where a young Prince Henry the Navigator was proving himself. Our Constable was also the builder of the ruined Carmo Convent left to remind the city of Lisbon of its devastating earthquake of 1755. This is where the Saint's bones were removed from to be housed in this church of his name.
