Good food options but the wine bar is terrible! Large selection but none very good. Service is astoundingly poor. Took one guy 10 minutes to serve one customer. Even the normally jovial Portuguese clientele were losing their patience. My second glass was half the size of the first, when I asked why, she shrugged and said that’s all they had. The former wine manager was a lovely man who offered all sorts of various wines and was professional and efficient. Now despite the large menu, most of the whites they have are acidic and strong with no subtle flavours. They will also overcharge your card if not looking, tried to charge me €9 for two glasses of wine instead of €7,5. When I pointed it out he got defensive and spent 5 minutes tapping his screen “trying” to fix it obviously hoping I would just pay and leave. Outrageous! A disservice to the other businesses that have great food but no...

Be prepared to find fresh, fresh, fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, and artisan breads, olive oils and more inside this covered marketplace. A huge shoutout out to the butcher on the corner, Tahlo do Nuno Félix, who provide first-class customer service. I brought my dog to Lisbon with me and I need to make her dog food from scratch. I work with the same butcher every week and and he de-bones and grinds chicken for me and sets the bones aside to make broth. My Portuguese is limited to "please, thank you, excuse me an see you later" and his English is about on par with my Portuguese, we managed to get my first order done with sign language and Google Translate. Now when I come in he knows just what I want and we have a great rapport. I love Lisbon and its people, I have encountered nothing but friendliness...

The Mercado is my daily visit space for fish and meats. A lot of options available for buying fruits, vegetables, craft, souvenirs. The butcheries, seafood market, bread shop, florist, spice and herbs store all make it great for us in the neighborhood to shop our daily requirements here. The Mercado also has multiple kiosks of restaurants and bars. However I always find them over expensive and not the same feel to eat. Campo de orique has some of the best restaurants in lisbon. The food history in this neighborhood is extremely top so why not explore and go eat at a restaurant rather than this chaotic sort of food court and melt the experience!
