Ok so maybe I ordered the wrong thing - cockles - little miniature clams - but it took almost an hour to make! I wanted the shrimp but they had run out and the hostess “recommended” the cockles. I started eating it and there was a lot of sand and they didn’t reduce the wine enough during cooking. Maybe the other dishes are better - if you have a lot of time on your hands - well beyond the norm for relaxed European...
