Praia do Forte Novo — Attraction in Loulé

This is a beautiful beach. Long strip of sand and the ocean has a few small waves. Some rocks at the shore. Many places to lay your towel or if you want to get specific locations with an umbrella you can rent those for €10

I spent a lot of the days here, most of the people here are Portuguese from other parts of the country. With a few tourists from other parts of the world.

Beautiful sandy beach! You can rent umbrella’s and beach beds if you please or bring your towel and enjoy the sea. It was very wavy the day we visited but we still enjoyed every bit! Its a long stretch beach you can sunbathe, swim, snorkel,l and fish. There is a bar on the private part of the beach where you can always buy snacks and drinks and enjoy music. Would 100% recommend! You can also find beautiful sea shells...

Beautiful beach with a backdrop of pine trees. Access can be difficult to find and the lane leading to the beach is very narrow. There's a bar restaurant at the end of the beach 'BJs' but this is very expensive, a few hundred metres from the town where you find a great selection of bars and restaurants at reasonable prices. No facilities....
