This is a beautiful beach. Long strip of sand and the ocean has a few small waves. Some rocks at the shore. Many places to lay your towel or if you want to get specific locations with an umbrella you can rent those for €10 I spent a lot of the days here, most of the people here are Portuguese from other parts of the country. With a few tourists from other parts of the world. I would definitely go back to this beach the next time I am in Algarve

Beautiful sandy beach! You can rent umbrella’s and beach beds if you please or bring your towel and enjoy the sea. It was very wavy the day we visited but we still enjoyed every bit! Its a long stretch beach you can sunbathe, swim, snorkel,l and fish. There is a bar on the private part of the beach where you can always buy snacks and drinks and enjoy music. Would 100% recommend! You can also find beautiful sea shells scattered all along!

Beautiful beach with a backdrop of pine trees. Access can be difficult to find and the lane leading to the beach is very narrow. There's a bar restaurant at the end of the beach 'BJs' but this is very expensive, a few hundred metres from the town where you find a great selection of bars and restaurants at reasonable prices. No facilities. Great for campers

Amazing beach and well with a visit. Good easy free car parking. Sun loungers for hire at around E10 per day. Shops nearby. Usually plenty of space even at weekend. Good for families and there are life guards on duty at times. Fairly shallow and safe water but always check of course! With a trip if you after in the areas.

Forte Novo is a beach in Quarteira. Long golden sand coastline beach. The ocean is calm and perfect for swimming. There are restaurants and bars in Forte Novo. Car park is available and there are people with disabilities car park spaces. The beach is accessible to people with disabilities through the small promenade.

Krásná, široká a nekonečně dlouhá pláž, takže není problém si kdekoliv lehnout. Nahoře trošku hrubší písek ale dole už je jemnější. Lze si zaplatit 2x lehátka s deštníkem ( cca10-20 euro na den) a nebo si jen lehnout na vlastní osušku. My si koupili vlastní slunečník za 8 euro (seženete na každém rohu) a ikdyž se nevlezl do kufru, na letišti nám ho vzali bez problémů, zadarmo v nadrozměných zavazadlech. Po pláži občas chodí Portugalci a prodávají koblihy( obalené v cukru) za 1 euro. Jinak v Portugalsku žádného otravného černocha co nabízí laciné cetky nepotkáte, což jsme ocenili. Prostě jen klid, pohoda a sluníčko. Celkem dost tam fouká, hlavně k večeru, a to byli i vlny, ve kterých jsme se nejvíce nasmáli a zablbli.
