Norpark - Aquatic Amusement Nazaré — Attraction in Nazaré

This was our second year going to this water park, and it will definitely be our last. Most businesses in Portugal do not understand the value of providing great customer service and they treat you as if they are doing you a favor by opening a low grade water park. We were a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids under 9 - our cost was EUR 85. When I realized that the jacuzzi was running on COLD water, I asked the attendant who was manning the portion of park if he can check why there is no hot water in jacuzzi, his response "I don't know, you have to talk to someone else". I gave him benefit of doubt that maybe he is a new employee and doesn't know much. Next I went to the front desk girl, she was surprised to hear that jacuzzi doesn't have hot water and promised me to look into it. I returned back to our spot after being assured that someone will be looking into it and fix it. I noticed that the front desk girl was talking to some of the employees to figure out things, but I was being highly optimistic. Nobody came to inform us of any updates or fixes, after 3 hours water was still cold in jacuzzi. On our way out, I ran into the front desk girl, and she didn't even acknowledge that she owed us an explanation or an update of that issue she so much showed concern about.

It is the way you are treated which brings you back to a business for repeat customer. This waterpark failed miserably to do that.

I would give it a zero or negative star rating if it was possible.

Will find another water park for kids to enjoy on our next annual trip, definitely not going to...

Lovely place to go with kids. Different pools sizes, multiple slides. Different prices for different times of the day. Comparing to last year I have on positive and one negative to write about , the positive it had trampolines with harness where my 5 year old could join however is €4 for around 10 minutes , the negative is this year they didn’t allow us to take the sun shade (umbrella), and wanted to charge us for the ones they have however, there lots of shade of you don’t go on the busiest days. Pretty big aquapark but with multiple disadvantages. There are no lockers available - so You need to carry your bags with you. Only two small changing rooms for whole park. No shower available prior to entry into the park or afterwards - not hygienic! No single fountain in entire park and not even in the kids area. Facilities look worn out.
