Terrible Experience – Avoid this Place!

My boyfriend and I went to this place for lunch, and it was a disaster from start to finish. He ordered a tuna wrap, only to discover they’d put avocado inside—something NOT mentioned on the menu. He’s allergic to avocado, which could have led to a serious health issue! When we pointed it out, the staff didn’t seem to care at all. No apology, no concern. He then ordered a burrata toast, hoping this would be a safe option. Guess what? They covered it in arugula (rucola), another ingredient NOT listed on the menu, which he also can’t eat.

When we politely addressed the issue, one waitress rudely remarked, “You’re complaining again…” and another nonchalantly brushed it off by saying, “It’s just a translation mistake, we always put rucola everywhere.” Unbelievable. Basically, they use cheap fillers without caring about customer allergies or preferences.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this restaurant. The waitress who was serving me and my daughter was extremely rude to us; she took the wrong order and brought the wrong food. She then argued with me that I had ordered the wrong food. I said I would still pay for the food that I did not order but that she could take it back. She brought it back to the table, still arguing that that was the food I ordered. And kept yelling at me “lady, calm down, lady calm down” when it was herself that was being very rude and aggressive the whole time. We paid for the food and left without eating it. I have traveled a lot in many countries and have never experience this kind of rudeness. I would recommend to stay away from this restraurant where they employ people like her. I got mango pancakes, shakshuka, and the eggs Benedict. The pancakes were DELICIOUS. They were soft and had a strong mango flavor and the passion fruit jelly was the perfect topping. The eggs Benedict was so so as it was nothing special and the eggs weee a little too runny for me. The shakshuka was my last dish and it was the BEST in my opinion! The shakshuka came with some plain break you could use to dip into the tomato gravy. The eggs and feta cheese added complexity to the dish making it creamier and complimenting the acidic tomato gravy!
