Pérgola da Nevogilde — Attraction in Porto

A short reference by Leonardo on the beach in Porto only twenty minutes by bus line 500 to go from the city center.

The busline along the river with beautiful views on parks old fotres and beautiful views for the sunset in the evening very recommended.

Get off in a station where you can find a lot of beautiful cafes along the beach with great windows and a lot of sunset beautiful views especially with the special atmosphere... the voice of the ocean waves, the special smell of saltry fresh air.

You can walk along the beach directly and feel the sand and cold water around your feets.

The bus- line numbers 500 is all the time running over the whole evening and until the late night so don't be afraid not come back in the city center ✌️

Bring your own food with to the beach and make your unbelievable picknick in the morning or in the sunset time in the late evening enjoy.

We took a taxi to come here since we been here in the past and it was beautiful, all place decorated with flowers, came and we saw nothing, got the feeling things were abandoned here, it's a nice beach view but nothing else there to expect. Also restaurants and shops are extremely overpriced in this area,...

Despite the other reviews giving this a “great”, we found this to be a bit of a disappointment. It looks a bit dated, nothing special and, yes, sunset may be pretty, but it looks the same from all across the promenade.

If you're in the area, great, but don't make a trip out there just to see...
