Excellent beach for aspiring or beginning surfers. The waves are big enough, but not dangerous. There is a surf school. The water is not very deep the first 50-100 meters. The temperature of the ocean here is a bit warmer than that of the coast of Lisbon to Cascais. So, it's nice to swim in. The beach lacks public facilities like showers and toilets. A real pity. But there are bars and restaurants you can ask to use their facilities. Costa da Caparica is not as mundane as Cascais, but you can feel it has great potential. It's like at one time, decades ago, they started developing the beach resort, but somewhere lost track.

Short taxi ride from Lisbon, a good stretch of beach with plenty of surf schools and good long walks. Clean beach and sea. Food and drinks available along the way.

It has a lot of space, water is nice too, waves are very different from time to time, but surfing is possible, restaurants near have pretty big portions.

This beach is huge with big waves. Good spot to go surfing if the weather fits. but there was a funny smell in the air and feathers from seagulls lying in the sand. bit disgusting to be honest. but ok if you avoid them. a few restaurants are nearby to go for a snack. had quite expensive ice cream. better get some snacks from the village on the way...
