Espaço 20 Lounge Coffee & Food — Restaurant in Almada

Went here beginning of September with some friends for breakfast. As soon as we got in a eastern european lady as a little bit rude, didn't say good morning and just shouting at us to put a mask on when we were clearly doing that! We set down and waited for ages to be served as she was more worried to do washing up than serve the customers. In the meantime, a young guy which was already serving other people had to come and take our order, he was really polite and friendly. The food was good and really good sized toasties. Fresh orange juice was spot on as well. The poor young guy seem to be doing everything on that place. I got a different sandwich (with meat) then the one I ordered (only cheese) even though I told the waiter twice and also showed it on the menu. I had to tell them that I don’t want to pay for it. And another waiter spilled a whole red lemonade at us. All we got was one dishonest “sorry”. It was almost impossible to communicate with the staff, they didn’t speak english (nor portuguese translator). In the end we had to pay for almost everything and I had to argue to not pay for a sandwich I didn’t order. I have been a client for many years and this was always a great spot to relax and watch the sunset after a day in the beach, the spot didn’t change so you can still watch the sunset but the quality of the food has declined tremendously, I ordered calamari which was our favourite dish and I was shocked, ì was only dough really no squid inside. To make sure we ordered some meat appetizers and they were okayish but not like it used to be, beer is still the same that is easy, the sunset still the same but the food is nothing to look forward to.
