Sunrise Costa de Caparica — Restaurant in Almada

I would give it zero stars if it was possible. If you want ruined food with cramped up little space where you can sit go here. Unbelievable for a 30 euro meal to taste that bad. I told I wanted very rare cooked beef. What I got was harder than my shoe sole with zero taste of beef only tasted like SOAP and FISH. Obviously the cook has zero clue how to make anything and he clearly cooked the beef in the same spot as fish. The plate itself was pure garbage. Worlds tiniest hard cooked piece of 'meat' with a ton of warmed up and cheap extra's like microwave warmed RICE and colorless salads. Even a strawberry. Who puts strawberry with beef. As said before the cook has no clue how taste works. The place itself is incredibly cramped and if you want to sit without smokers you have to sit inside...

I used to be a regular at this restaurant, but unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. Today, we had one of the worst customer service experiences. We placed our order at 14:00, and the food only arrived close to 16:00.

What made it worse was seeing other customers—clearly known to the manager—being served quickly, while we were left waiting. When I raised my concerns with the manager about how this kind of favoritism and poor service could damage the restaurant’s reputation, he simply said “sorry” with no real explanation or accountability.

It’s truly disappointing to see a place that once had great potential...

This is a review from Oct 2019. First of staffs are friendly. Food seen cheap compare to Lisbon. 1 l sangria is 8 euro. 1 acarda seafood is 10 euros. I can't finish it my self. Toilet is clean. And the ocean view is amazing... In October no less. From a western EU vacation destination. I see this as a value and well worth restaurant. Are there cheaper alternatives? Sure. But I won't waste more time looking for one and would rather spend my time enjoying the beach.

I would also like to add that I initially just order drinks for the view. The service was good that I stay...
