Coninente is a very bright supermarket with great selection of goods. Can be hard to find parking here as it's so busy. You can park on the main road. Continente is very different to Pingo doce...

Reachable by cable car frm Funchal, the garde is laid out on a steep slope, overlooking the motorway, but the noise quickly fades as you wander into the garden. Interesting visit....
