Porto de Abrigo is an absolute gem! After an exciting jeep tour, we arrived at this wonderful spot with a breathtaking ocean view around 4 PM. The wine tasting experience was a highlight, offering a diverse selection of exquisite local wines. Each sip was a delight!

We also enjoyed the selection of ponchos, with the orange and passion fruit flavors being our favorites. The cozy poncho provided kept us comfortable during our visit. A tradiitional wine warehouse that served a few wine merchant's right on the beach front. It has since, been renovated into a taverna style serving lite meals & wines from Madeira and Portugal. The traditional wine press, goat skins (used to carry the grape juice to the barrels), old 10 litre glass bottles turned into lamp shades, original pebble floor, wooden seats all add to the charm with a few modern twist.
