Charolinha da Mata Nacional dos Sete Montes — Attraction in Tomar

Public park in Tomar with a number of walks. Shaded areas to hide from the sun or open areas to bask in it depending on will. We got there early to walk with our dog. The park was quiet and we chose the red route which did not disappoint. Great “finds” on the walk. A bonus of looking at the convent and the castle (which were inaccessible with a dog on main entrances). Viaduct remains (no water) and a fab swing all on route. The flower beds at the entrance to the park left a lot to be desired although they were being strimmed which tells you everything you need to know about them !
